Lichfield House is a very attractive and spacious red brick Georgian House located in the Kilkenny City area of Ireland.

Recommended by the Guide du Routard, Edmonton Journal and West Australian amongst others, this B&B of fine pedigree sits on a superbly kept acre of lush garden where you can have a wander and take in the scenic location. They offer collection from the nearby train or bus station if you are not driving, as well as an extensive breakfast menu.

Lichfield House is fully central heated and offers three spacious en suite rooms complete with a hair dryer, tea making and television as standard. It's a non smoking residence with a private car park for guest use.

Staying just outside Kilkenny means you are spoilt for choice when it comes to things to do. Why not have a look at the St. Francis's Abbey Brewery, or wander the grounds of the magnificent Kilkenny Castle. The nearby Slieveardagh Hills are ideal for those that like hill-walking, while the River Nore is another good spot for a wander or a spot of fishing. Golfer's can play at Kilkenny, Castlecomer, Callan or the majestic Mount Juliet championship course, and if you fancy a drink and a meal then Kilkenny city is ideal.

Our Garden

Our Gardens have always been a favourite with our guests. Enjoy an evening picnic under our much-admired 'Weeping Willow Tree'. Children can play safely in mature grounds. Our gardens at Lichfield House are truly 'A BREATH OF FRESH AIR'.

The Dining Room

Our comfortable dining room offers Irish sunshine in the morning which compliments any dish from our extensive breakfast menu, which caters for all tastes including the Vegetarian of the party.
